Laurie Fleischmann, Controller, Jackson Design & Remodeling
"As the new Financial Controller for Jackson Design and Remodeling I was excited to have the opportunity to present my professional network relationships to my new employer, including an insurance broker I had worked with for over 10 years, BUT no need to present realized when I was introduced to Jeremy, John and Alyssa of Rancho Mesa Insurance services. During the company insurance review and renewal time Jeremy quickly won me over with his people skills, delivering a sense of putting the client first and a show of great customer service through the introduction of John and his quick responses and Alyssa with her risk management tool kit. John Parker, Alyssa Burley and Jeremy Hoolihan listen to our needs and provide the best solutions to any problem or coverage need at hand. Technical knowledge, high energy, persistence and honesty are all very important to me, and Rancho Mesa has not missed a beat."
Jill Jimenez, Minegar Contracting, Inc.
"Minegar is constantly looking to improve our safety program and Alyssa at Rancho Mesa has always been a quick, dependable resource for us. Whenever I need help with a new policy or a form I can count on Alyssa to guide me in the right direction!"

The employee handbook may seem like a stale document; created years ago that rarely is read. However, that is a misconception. An employee handbook is meant to be a living document that communicates an employer’s expectations to employees. It can illustrate the company culture. Whether it spells out a dress code or a telecommuting policy, the employee handbook also includes information that is required by state and federal law. So, it’s imperative for employers to make sure their employee handbooks are up to date and compliant.
