Author, Alyssa Burley, Media Communications and Client Services Manager, Rancho Mesa Insurance Services, Inc.
Rancho Mesa Insurance Services is pleased to announce the winners of this year’s OneofOne® Legacy Gift Drawing on Thursday, November 7, 2019.
For the second year, Rancho Mesa has asked its clients to identify what makes the company OneofOne®. What actions have Rancho Mesa employees done to go above and beyond their normal duties? For every response, clients were entered into a drawing for a chance to win one of ten $250 donations to the nonprofit of their choice or the grand prize, the naming rights to an examination room at Family Health Centers of San Diego.
This drawing is a win-win for Rancho Mesa and our local nonprofit community. Rancho Mesa gathers feedback from clients and in return, monetary donations are made to nonprofits that our clients care about in our community.
Within San Diego, Rancho Mesa works with and supports about 40 non-profits, one of those is the Family Health Centers of San Diego. They are one of the largest community clinics within the United States, offering a wide range of health care services that provides care to over 190,000 unique patients a year. They provide these services through 23 primary care clinics, 8 behavioral health facilities, 7 dental clinics, 3 mobile medical units, a teen health center, an outpatient substance abuse treatment program, vision and physical therapy, and a pharmacy.

“Rancho Mesa Insurance Services is always looking for new and innovative ways to provide value to their clients. Their turnaround time on anything is second to none and they make it a habit of going above and beyond. It has been a pleasure working with them and the amazing staff they employ for over 15 years now.”
Jill Jimenez, Minegar Contracting
“Rancho Mesa isn’t your typical insurance broker that meets with you once when it’s time to renew, shakes some hands, and gets you to sign some paperwork. The team at Rancho Mesa checks in multiple times a year to see how they can help and what they can do to better support the needs of your company. Rancho Mesa offers a personalized experience that is unique to the insurance industry and is unmatched by any other broker we’ve ever met.”
John Peek, Peek Brothers Painting
“I have been with “Team” Rancho Mesa for close to 20 years.
As you can imagine, as a small business over that period of time, I have experienced ups and downs. I met Daniel Frazee back when I was with another broker. Dan was so conscientious and consistent with a helpful, “How can I serve” attitude in my painting industry association that, when the time came to switch brokers, it was a no brainer.
Through thick and thin and the ups and downs of navigating the choppy waters of workers comp and general liability, Rancho has been so helpful to me. Some brokers treat you like a hot potato when the going gets a little rough; but that has never been the case with Rancho Mesa. They are an integral part of my team.
Over the past few years, Daniel has handed me to Casey Craig. The transition has been seamless and Casey has been as attentive and as attentive as Daniel has always been.
The whole team is just “on it” Vickie on certs; Alyssa on making sure we are educated; Jim on helping me navigate workers comp and Kelsey on managing our account… all the folks are a real joy to work with.”
Carol Falcon, Custom Installations Inc.
“Our company has been a client with Rancho Mesa for 8 years. In those 8 years they have always made sure all our business requirements were met. Such as providing us with timely certificate of insurance for our job sites, assisting us with special requests as they would arise. Their entire staff has been professional and friendly. Taking the time and consideration to all matters at hand.”
David Carucci, United Cerebal Palsy of San Diego County
“Since we have been a client of Rancho Mesa, Dave Garcia and his staff have helped us here at UCP be better at managing our employee needs for safety training and injury awareness. They have on many occasions brought us new and innovative ways to manage our insurance costs, keep our staff safe and make certain that we are always in a position to point our efforts at what matters the most … serving persons with cerebral palsy and other disabilities and their families here in our community. In plain English, they are innovative, professional and they care!”
Chrissy Torres, New Wave Electric
“Alyssa Burley has held my hand throughout the implementation and completion of administering the anti-harassment training to NWEC. I’m sincerely grateful for her prompt and friendly assistance.”
Chris Fife, Executive Director, Pathfinder Ranch
"Rancho Mesa has gone above and beyond by making high quality employee training available through the Risk Management System. The Harassment Training Course was outstanding and makes a big difference for a non-profit organization such as ours."
Jeff Restine, Fuller Electric
“Kim Vasquez, along with the rest of the Rancho Mesa team, have been so amazing to work with over the years I don’t know what we would do without them. The attention to detail and quick turnaround times are essential to our success in the fast paced world of electrical contracting and construction. The family style environment that has been created makes it so comfortable to navigate the complex insurance world. Thank you Rancho Mesa!”
Bree McNamara, McNamara Pump & Electric
“We have been doing business with Jeremy and his team at Rancho Mesa for years, he’s made our company feel at ease with the ever-changing insurance needs for our construction company. The staff we’ve had an opportunity to work with has always had prompt communication and are easy to work with. As a small Mom & Pop Construction Company we know we’re getting competitive pricing to help keep our cost down but maximize our coverage annually and couldn’t be happier with any other insurance company. We appreciate the daily hard work of the Rancho Mesa team does for us and their contribution to helping our business thrive.”
