Rancho Mesa Welcomes New Year at Annual Kickoff Meeting

Rancho Mesa Insurance Services, Inc. held its annual Kick Off Meeting on Friday, January 10, 2020 at the Brigantine seafood and oyster bar in La Mesa, CA. President and CEO Dave Garcia spoke about the company’s success in 2019 by reaching impressive goals.

The room was filled with a positive energy, as Dave praised the team for their hard work and dedication while reviewing the team’s 2019 achievements. He addressed one goal after another, as they were all met or exceeded expectations.  

Dave expressed his enthusiasm for the 2020 year, as he highlighted some very exciting projects coming to life in the new year. With the opening of the La Mesa office, 2020 should be an exciting year of growth and achievement for Rancho Mesa.

During the kickoff meeting Dave announced Rancho Mesa’s theme for 2020, “Above and Beyond.” This covers two categories: the customer service we provide to our clients and the tangible services we develop to help them identify and manage risk. Rancho Mesa Opens 2nd Office

Rancho Mesa Insurance Service, Inc. is delighted to announce that the construction of the La Mesa, CA office is complete! As of Monday, December 16, 2019 the branch has been fully up and running.

Berkshire Hathaway's Zadock "Zee" Reid presented at the Heat Illness Prevention workshop hosted by Rancho Mesa Insurance Services, Inc. on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at the Boys & Girls Club of East County in Santee, CA.

Zee conducted an educational and engaging workshop as he covered a variety of topics including:

• Pre-shift Meetings

• Supervisory Expectations

• Clarification on Access to Water

• Clarification on Access to Shade    

• Rest & Recovery periods

• Monitoring Employees

• Weather Monitoring

The Heat Illness Prevention workshop is part the RM365 Advantage Safety Star Program™. At the end of the workshop, attendees completed and passed the required quiz to receive credit towards the program.

First RM365 Advantage Safety Star: Eddie Lopez of Century Painting Corp.

On February 12, 2019, in a close race to become the first Safety Star, Eddie Lopez, Safety Coordinator at Century Painting Corp. was the first to complete the RM365 Advantage Safety Star Program in Construction Safety. 

On March 12, 2019, Kevin Howard from Rancho Mesa Insurance presented Eddie with his certificate of completion and stickers to display his accomplishments on a hard hat and company vehicle.

“I mainly decide to do [the RM 365 Advantage Safety Star Program] because of my passion and for the workers. I know how important it is for the company to also make sure that safety is with them everyday. That’s the reason I did it,” said Eddie Lopez when asked about why he decided to participate in the program.
