Alyssa Burley: Hi, this is Alyssa Burley with Rancho Mesa's Media Communications and Client Services Department. Thank you for listening to today's top Rancho Mesa news brought to you by our Safety and Risk Management Network, StudioOne. Welcome back everyone. My guest is Megan Lockhart, Client Communications Coordinator with Rancho Mesa. Last week, SafetyOne saw some changes to the toolbox talk screens in the administrative website. So today we'll be talking about those latest revisions and what users should know. Megan, welcome to the show.
Megan Lockhart: Hi, Alyssa. Thanks for having me.
AB: So our developers are constantly working to improve the SafetyOne app and website, which is great. And they've made some changes to the way the administrator assigns Toolbox Talks. With this latest update, what will the administrator see on the Toolbox Talk screen in the admin website?
ML: So there are a lot of visual changes to the menu, but ultimately the goal was to simplify the process. And for listeners who are already logged into the website, feel free to follow along as we talk about this if you'd like. But when the administrator is in the admin website and they click the Toolbox Talk dropdown, they'll no longer see a long list of actions like Assign Toolbox Talks to Users and Assign Users to Toolbox Talks. Instead, they'll just see two options, Reports and Templates. Reports are where you'll view completed toolbox talk reports and the Template screen is where you'll assign them to your projects
AB: This does seem a lot more simplified compared to the multiple screens. So how are the new Reports and Templates screens different from what we had before?
ML: So on the Report screen there's now a tab to view completed toolbox talks and another tab to view deleted ones. On the Template screen there's a tab for viewing the library of toolbox talks whether they are SafetyOne Default or Custom Made, a tab to create new ones, one for assigning them, and another one for grouping Toolbox Talks. On the Assign tab, you'll now be able to toggle between Assigning Toolbox Talks to Projects and Assigning Projects to Toolbox Talks.
AB: Okay, that's a huge deal. We used to have two separate screens depending on whether the administrator needed to assign a Toolbox Talk to multiple projects or vice versa and assign multiple toolbox talks to one project. This seems a lot more simple. So it's important we're giving our admin users a heads up with these changes as soon as possible. And of course, if clients have any questions about how to navigate the new screens, they can always reach out to their client technology coordinator. Megan, thanks for joining me in StudioOne.
ML: Of course, my pleasure.
