Alyssa Burley: Hi, this is Alyssa Burley with Rancho Mesa's Media Communications and Client Services Department. Thank you for listening to today's top Rancho Mesa news brought to you by our Safety and Risk Management Network, StudioOne. Welcome back everyone. My guest is Megan Lockhart, Client Communications Coordinator with Rancho Mesa. Today we're going to talk about the new toolbox talks in the SafetyOne application. that are specific to the landscape and land care industries. Megan, welcome to the show.
Megan Lockhart: Hi Alyssa, happy to be here.
AB: So we're constantly looking for ways to provide our clients with industry specific content. These new toolbox talks in SafetyOne are tailored towards the safety within the landscape and land care industry. So Megan, tell us a little bit about what's been added.
ML: Yeah, so there's now a library of 52 new topics for landcare industries. These are available in both English and Spanish, and there are 52 of them, so they're intended to provide a year's worth of lessons. So landcare employers will have a supply of them each year. And there's a vast range of topics. To name a few, we have poisonous plant awareness, chainsaw safety, mulch and soil handling safety, green waste disposal, and PPE use for landscape contractors, and so many more.
AB: I know our team worked with landscape professionals for feedback on the list of topics that should be included in this library. So how can users access these 52 land care toolbox talks?
ML: Yeah, so it's really easy. They're available in your SafetyOne account and to make them accessible via the mobile app, you'll need to assign them to a project or a crew. But you can create a toolbox talk group in the administrator website, then assign all 52 to the group, which will allow you to easily assign the entire group of toolbox talks to future projects or crews. And in the administrator website, you can view the list of landscape specific topics by just typing in landscape into the search bar. And this will show 51 of the toolbox talks. Now the 52nd is titled “Fertilizer and Soil Amendment Safety”. So just enter the title in the search bar to find that last one. And on the Rancho Mesa website we have a frequently asked question that gives a step -by -step walkthrough of how to do all this.
AB: All right well we'll definitely include a link to the FAQ in the episode notes I think that will be helpful for everyone and this really is a game changer for our landcare clients who can now access the entire industry specific toolbox talk library from their mobile devices. Megan thanks for joining me in StudioOne.
ML: Yeah, thanks for having me.
