Author, Megan Lockhart, Client Communications Coordinator, Rancho Mesa Insurance Services, Inc.
In Rancho Mesa’s continued effort to meet client needs, new online training courses have been added to SafetyOne™. The trainings cover a range of topics such as violence and security in the workplace, workplace stress, and active shooter survival, along with a few general safety trainings.
SafetyOne users now have access to the following training courses in English and Spanish:
Active Shooter: Surviving an Attack
Workplace Security
Workplace Stress
Workplace Violence
Workplace Violence in Construction Environments (English Only)
Workplace Violence in Healthcare Facilities
Workplace Violence in Office Environments (English Only)
Safety Awareness for New Employees
Safety Orientation in Construction Environments
The course additions were made in response to client requests for resources addressing workplace violence. Specifically, construction industry employers expressed concerns about the safety of their workers, due to an increase in hostile individuals entering the jobsite and posing a security threat. The risk is not only affecting the construction industry, it is being reported across industries.
Rancho Mesa values feedback as we continuously strive to ensure clients have the resources they need to keep their employees safe and their risk mitigated.
